WHY CRANBERRY JUICE, DANDELION LEAF & BEET ROOT JUICE AS WELL AS OTHER DIURETICS or even HIGH ALKALINE WATERS ARE NOT ALWAYS GOOD FOR KIDNEY PATIENTS.
As you know, we always talk about ‘balance’ for FUELING our bodies. Balance is defined as not over doing one thing. Some of you may not be aware that I have had kidney surgery and kidney complications of my own. At the age of 8 years, I encountered kidney surgery and suffered for over 25 years of kidney complications. In and out of ER and on many different kinds of water pills, rx drugs and IV's to find NO relief. Finally 10 years ago, after listening to my son's doctor in Colorado, I realized the importance of real toxic free foods and how they heal the body. I understood finally, that just continuing to put a bandage on my issues was just hiding the real problem. I realized that I had to get to the cause of the problem before I could begin to really heal.
After searching the country for remedies for my kidney ailments, I found what I thought was relief with certain foods 10 years ago. I managed to keep my swelling somewhat to a low level, I kept my kidneys from acting up and kept me out of the emergency room for 6 years. So I thought I was doing great. After all I was drinking my "Diuretic teas, my kidney accelerator and dandelion teas and of course had drank a water that was high in alkaline"., Then in June of 2011, after I had just finished my first ever bicycle tour of 1320 miles from Ohio to Florida, I completely exhausted my kidney. This exhaustion combined along with all my other ventures sent my kidney into overload production. Although I ate the best of the best organic foods and did my meditation while on tour, I found myself in serious trouble. I was sitting typing as I sit here typing this blog one evening and just like the lights go out, my face turned white and I nearly fainted. My husband took me to bed immediately to get rest. However, he found me not waking and I was in bed for over 3 days unable to function. This is when I knew I must search the world for the best doctor for my kidney complications. Working with different foods, herbs and tinctures on my own and with other holistic doctors, there was still something missing to completely help reverse my condition This is where I found life long relief from a world wide holistic kidney doctor, Dr. Jenna Henderson of Holistic Kidney. From Dr. Jenna, a world known doctor, I learned many ways the body heals and many things I just assumed would be good for my kidney was NOT. I learned how diuretics can work against a kidney and how certain protein is needed for the kidney function.
Keep in mind that not all remedies are right for each patient. But be assured that anything simple and natural as ocean swimming, massages, saunas and so on, can do your kidney wonders.

Many people mistake a UTI for a kidney infection. When we have UTI’s, then cranberry juice, beet root juice and dandelion leaf are sufficient and good. But in my case of kidney complications, these foods are NOT good. So, please understand that most postings on here are to PREVENT and KEEP you healthy. We know that certain measures are to be taken for certain ailments. We are NOT doctors, nurses or scientist. However, I, Lynnette, do take instruction from some great holistic doctors around the country. PLUS, when one has a surgery, you can NOT reverse a surgery, you can only prevent further ailments and help reverse your causes of damage. Therefore, all you people who blast me for eating meat, well tell that to my kidney who can NOT produce the protein like it should. NOTE: only to eat grass fed and grass FINISHED meat such as bison, elk or beef 1 - 2x’s per week in very small amounts. The animal can NOT produce it’s own L-Carnitine if it is NOT fed a natural diet and FINISHED with a natural diet. So just eating meat with OUT knowing the source will surely wreak havoc upon the body.
The kidneys are a pair of organs located in the back of the abdomen. Each kidney is about 4 or 5 inches long -- about the size of a fist.The kidneys' function are to filter the blood from the aorta. All the blood in our bodies passes through the kidneys several times a day. The kidneys remove wastes, control the body's fluid balance, and regulate the balance of electrolytes. As the kidneys filter blood, they create urine, which collects in the kidneys' pelvis -- funnel-shaped structures that drain down tubes called ureters to the bladder.
Here is my personal protocol my amazing doctor prescribed for me.
Get plenty of sleep, to be in bed by 10p.m. and taking one time per week to be in bed by 8:30. Swim in the ocean, if no ocean then take a bath with 4 lbs. of salt and soak for 30 mins. Get deep tissue massages, get acupuncture, go to far infrared saunas. Avoid essential oils. Avoid diuretics. Eat small portions of red meat 2 x's per week. Eat lots of black cherries, blue berries, beats. Take vital nutrients, take BCQ and slippery elm. Get 3 big belly laughs per day. Wow, what an awesome 'prescription', who would NOT want to do this?

Now before you bash me or praise me. Here me out and YOU be the judge. While I believe this is a very NOBEL idea for this company. The idea behind this is to RID the warped main stream food industry horrid commercial farming and slaughter houses. Some OTHER sites out here ( I will refrain from calling names) last year would have you to believe that scientist are "Growing Eggs" as in literally making an egg out of genetic mutations. PLEASE my friends, get your facts on anything and everything before you take it as TRUTH. This company is NOT growing eggs. They are simply trying to fill a void as to the humane aspects. They are not even making FAKE eggs..they are simply making PLANTS TASTE like eggs. Completely different story.
As I mention in my book, Fuel for the Body, Just because you are Vegan OR Vegetarian does NOT in any way make you healthy. Because if you are eating toxic poisons sprayed or injected into your plants and eating processed foods, then NO you are NOT healthy at all. (forgive me while I stepped on my soap box, you can find my view point in my book). Hey, I have many vegan friends. Most understand the humane points of view. On to my story. The owner and founder of Hampton Creek Foods, Joshua Tetrick, had a vision. I applaud his vision to make a lighter foot print on our precious planet. He seems to say no to big slaughter housing and chicken coop industries. He believes he has the perfect solution to the problem of the toxic waste the chicken houses omit.
How are the "Plant Eggs" made? Well this entire plant ingredient and oil list has not been disclosed yet. They are still perfecting the perfect combination of plants and ingredients. But according to their own words as you will see, they search the world for the best plants to combine to make an egg-like taste. Now true enough that they are extracting chemicals to create the right combination of the plants to form an 'egg taste'. But they, so far, have not created a genetic mutation to grow an egg or even a different species of a plant. Therefore, it should not be considered genetically modifying organisms.
Now lets examine their already launched product, JUST MAYO. While they use NON GMO Canola oil, we know that canola comes from the rape seed plant and was only meant to be used as insecticide. The amount of canola oil that is used is insane! then there is: Filtered Water, Lemon Juice, White Vinegar, 2% or less of the following: Organic Sugar, Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar, Pea Protein, Spices, Garlic, Modified Food Starch, Beta-Carotene. Hey, awesome, they use "ORGANIC SUGAR" and FILTERED Water, but take a look at the other ingredients.. hmm, what are the "spices"? What farms does the pea protein come from? how many chemicals are used? and our old friend...NOT, the modified food starch. By the naked eye, the ingredient list is not so bad and definitely NOT long. PLUS it has zero cholesterol! That's a plus. BUT what poisons are you consuming? (of course 'they' say , everything in moderation.) That term drives me, well, let's just say it drives me.
Now on to the EGG to Come..which will be called BEYOND EGG! Again, they are creating an EGG TASTE out of plants from around the world. Nobel idea! It looks like an egg once finished. They say it taste like an egg with a plant after taste. Not so shabby huh? Again, the plant ingredient list will be a joy. but what "other" ingredients will be added? What modified starches will there be? What "Natural Flavorings" will be added? Now they are quick to already have the NON GMO Project logo, aren't they? As I state numerous times...just because something is NON GMO..does NOT make it organic or even SAFE to consume! So I challenge anyone who ONLY wants to eat NON GMO foods, how 'safe' do you think you are feeding your family with NON GMO only? You can spray the heck out of that seed/plant with round-up, pesticides, herbicides and any chemical. But hey, it's NON GMO! Please, avoid any TOXINS at all cost. It is the toxins on the planet that are killing us as much as the GMO. Monsanto knows this. We need to keep our planet toxic FREE, period! More on this subject in my seminars and books.
You will also note that our awesome richest guy in the world, Bill Gates is an investor in this noble endeavor. Also Asia's richest man is the key venture capitol funder. With these two making their debut into the "LET's Get the Nation Healthy", you have to stop and ponder that mentality. Again, this company's founder had good intentions to 'save' the animals from slaughter and cramped houses by putting chicken coops out of business. While they are NOT using any 'fake' items to be called food, yet, they certainly are not using the safest forms of creations. Of course he has the scientist working for him that he firmly states they have NO experience in food making..their only purpose is to formulate the right combinations to make plants taste like something else. Which in my opinion is NOT really a big deal IF and ONLY IF you are using all organic and toxic free ingredients. I know a coconut company who makes "Coco Bacon" ! Yep, and it taste amazing!! NO animal products, he uses a combination of seasonings and discloses each seasoning and are all of the organic nature and toxic free! So these I do NOT have a problem with. It is the toxicity of the ingredients that continue being used in our food supply that I have a huge problem with.
Now, most of you know that I do not discourage you from eating animal products IF and ONLY IF you KNOW your farmer or KNOW the source in which the animal came from and it was humanely raised and humanely harvested. I also encourage you to eat meat as little as possible. We do not need meat for every meal, let alone every week. Also, for my vegan friends out there, I LOVE YOU DEARLY!...there is NOTHING wrong with eating an egg, IF it is an egg from a humanely raised free range chicken. Heck, chickens that are allowed to free roam, lay their eggs all over the place and lose them. So it's like having an egg hunt every day!
I will be in contact with this company to get the ingredients that will be used for the "EGG LIKE PLANT". I will give you my feed back on that as well. In the mean time, eat the JUST MAYO at YOUR own RISK! Right now, the ingredients are no too harmful. But the canola oil, the modified food starch and the "spices" are NOT for me and will never pass our seal of approval.
Now, if this company was using the most integrity and organic and toxic free ways of creating this "Plant Egg", then I would certainly have zero problem in this method that is being used. It is not genetic mutation that I can see (unless they shift gears on me) Supposedly they are simply breaking the plants down to create a 'flavor", just as my friend does with his coco bacon.
