I don’t even like to call this a “weight loss” book as it’s so much more than that. It is a total nutrition book with the “side effect” of weight loss! So how would you like that for a side effect?
I do not buy into the obesity is a disease mentality. I do, however believe you ARE what you eat. I used to believe that overweight people just ate themselves that way or they just couldn’t say no. I believed that because I, myself would always have to be careful of what I ate as I have the genes to become very overweight and have easily put on several extra pounds.
I have come to understand after studying and researching the food industry for the past few years, that it is possible for people to be overweight by no “real” fault of their own. Why? Well, because of the wonders of the food industry. The food industry and big pharma has led us to believe that all the processed foods are actually good for us. The fact of the matter is, they have tainted and adulterated the food to leave no nutritional value what so ever. The MSG, GMO and GEF foods simply trigger our brain into being hungry and have crazy sugar cravings. Remember, if you are drinking a diet soda and having a candy bar or snack cake, that’s not going to cut it!
Fuel for the Body is geared to help you get acquainted with eating more nutritiously. You will find that after following this protocol, you will want more information on other foods to add to your daily diet. You will have more energy without the after crash. These 3 staples I mention to you in this book have been tried and tested by myself, clients and friends. I came up with this 3 staple regimen a few years ago after trying to help a couple of my friends to lose weight. After trying various foods, one at a time, and none were doing quiet like I wanted, I stumbled across one very important staple. I first tried it myself and was very pleased with the taste and the energy it gave me and the controlled appetite I felt. I then gave it to my friends to try. They experienced the same as I. So I began my quest to find even more healthy foods to add to their diets. I was on a quest to not only find weight loss foods, but to get good health benefits as well. After studying the wonderful health benefits of the 1st staple, I was astonished at what I found. I wanted to compliment this food with other fat burning foods. I did my due research and added 2 more staples to my diet as well as my friends’diets. The other staples proved to attack the bad fats and help the digestion track which is vital for any healthy diet.
The mentioned staples are something every household should NEVER be without. I use these every day of my life. I do it for health maintenance. I just use a lesser amount than what I recommend clients who need to lose weight. These staples are so essential, that children can consume them.
