Welcome to my AMBASSADOR of AMERICA'S OUTSTANDING MOM PAGE.

I know you are all wondering what the heck is this and HOW was I chosen as AMBASSADOR? Well, it's simple, a panel of judges select certain "Moms" to represent states. I was first selected as FLORIDA's Outstanding Mom, then I had to go compete for the National Title in CT, June of 2012. This is a "pageant venue" , yes, but it goes beyond that. The director, Laurye Natale, has created a platform for MOMs all across the nation to be the "QUEEN" they already are. Although I did not bring home the crown of America's Outstanding Mom, I did place 1st Runner Up and won the most Visibility award. Then I was selected by the director as the AMBASSADOR of America's Outstanding Mom. This is a HUGE feat in the pageant industry to bring someone like me, with NO experience in the industry and to bring to the judges and audience the representation of the organic life style. I did NOT compromise on anything in this pageant. I represented US (YOU) the organic and sustainable world very well from each and every outfit I wore to the cosmetics I wore and the food I ate. My wardrobe was sponsored in full by Denise Shardlow of Shardlow Designs. She designed my attire from bamboo, hemp, recycled poly and organic cottons. My jewlry was compliments of Gwyneth MacArthur and Amy Ragsdale. All jewelry was from recycled materials and hand made. My make up was sponsored in full by Ecco Bella.

As AMBASSADOR for this great pageant system, I will travel the nation as I always do. I will continue to reach a public who have never heard our message. I chose to get involved with this particular pageant system because I fell in love with the out reach platform that the director, Laurye Natale, has provided. I saw this as an opportunity to NOT preach to the choir. It was not about glam and glitz for me, but rather a mission and a challenge. Don't get me wrong, it is always fun to play dress up. Speaking of dress up, this just goes to show you that the organic world CAN be glamorous! Also, as the Ambassador, I will promote the mission of the pageant and recruit other MOM's to get 'their' mission out to the nation. I will also engage in public speaking events to encourage participation of this pageant as well as help the public to understand how we can use certain platforms to increase our visibility with OUT selling out.

I proudly accept this title to reach people across the nation, to inspire, enlighten and empower everyone to step "outside" the box and take a stand!

“WHO IS AMERICA’S OUTSTANDING MOM”?

America’s Outstanding Mom is a MOM who is well rounded and diverse in many aspects of life. There are
many ‘outstanding’ mothers who have amazing parenting skills and deserve rewards, but some moms just stand out! Is she perfect? No, but she sure knows how to squeeze lemonade out of life’s lemons. Not only is she loving and nurturing, but is confident, mission oriented and involved in our world today to make it a better place for her children and grandchildren.

America’s Outstanding Mom is out spoken on issues that affect the world her family lives in. She is self-controlled, pure, kind, and respected by others and never losing sight of reality. She also sets the path for her children to follow so they understand what it means to stand up for your beliefs and values. She is a proud mom who has also seen her children grow to understand what life is all about.

America’s Outstanding Mom also captures the public’s attention in the roles she plays in the community of volunteering, public speaking or making awareness for a worthy cause. She is above all; passionate, strong and confident. At the same time she is sound and loving in the home keeping her family prepared for future obstacles. She is resourceful and mostly

I believe my mom deserves the title of AOM because not only has she been the
greatest mom to my sisters and my self, but also to many other people who have needed a mom when theirs' wasn’t there. Being a mom is so much more than just having and raising children, it’s caring for them, raising them right, and loving them no matter what. My mom has done all of this and much more. I never met another mom that has the love for her children that my mother has. Not only does she have love for her own children, but also for those children who did not have mothers to show them kindness and love. She has been a mother to children, as well as all of the communities she has lived in. Again, I believe she deserves this title, because, not only is she a mother to her own children, but to anyone else who has needed a mother and to those in her community and church.

My daughter, Haley

I think my mom deserves AOM because she is one of the strongest people I know. She raised all three of her kids by herself and never left them when my dad left. She always made sure we had everything we needed and most of what we wanted. She never treated my step brother or sister differently, they were always equal to us. Along with the foster children she had as well. She is the one person I know that will be there for me, when all else fails. That is the person I would run to. I love my mom very much and after everything shes been
through she still manages to keep going with her head held high.
