Our womb supports our fertility. It houses our creativity and our intuition. Our womb opens up the portal to the soul, thus helping to either heal or hinder your true being. In some religions the Yoni is referred to as your 'Goddess', especially in the Hindu culture. The Hindu culture attributes the Yoni as the symbol of the goddess Shakti, the feminine generative power and, as a goddess, the consort of Shiva. In Shaivism, the branch of Hinduism devoted to worship of the god Shiva, the yoni is often associated with the ligam, which is Shiva’s symbol. In sculpture and paintings, the lingam is depicted as resting in the yoni as a cylinder in a spouted dish. The two symbols together represent the eternal process of creation and regeneration, the union of the male and female principles, and the totality of all existence. However, I only use the Yoni term in relation to self love, understanding and healing from within.
The Goddess Within You
I believe we are all "Goddesses" in which we can attain our highest and best selves when we truly understand the connections and harmony of the entire body, mind and spirit. When we connect with our feminine organ, we can begin to understand how this is a devine gateway to internally healing. Think about it for a moment. This gateway is the very canal that provides the birth and life of another being. (Of course it takes a part of the male to help create a life inside) We, as women, have the ability and power to give life from our very body in which we live in breathe in each and every day. Therefore, would it not make sense that this gateway can be the healing canal for our wellbeing? Would this not be a portal in which needs to be taken seriously, maintained well and treated as if it were another living and breathing part of our body? Our Yoni should never be neglected. We should treat it as our friend and be in harmony with her. We should honor the fact that God gave us this devine place in our temple. (Nature does not make a distinction between our Incubating things that serve us and things that do not. What this means is that trauma, pain, negative and limiting beliefs, abandonment, violations, and fears – all of it -once experienced tends to be held in our Yoni and our Womb and we need to release it. In addition to the releasing – we are performing an act of sublime Self Love and Nourishing) ~quoted by Richard & Namaste
